Dave Colling
Executive Director - dave@hnampls.org

With over 20 years’ experience working with government agencies, political and nonprofit organizations, and inside the marketing communications industry, Dave Colling brings a community-focused approach to his work. Growing up in an economically challenged area of Detroit, MI, he learned first-hand the many benefits and challenges of building strong, inclusive communities.

Dave’s passion for community building started early and he took that passion into the world of politics, first as a volunteer and eventually as a highly sought after political strategist. Success managing Congressman Keith Ellison’s first campaign through the 2006 primary and general elections reinforced his belief that diversity is strength and the key to thriving neighborhoods and communities. Dave’s work with grassroots organizations has continued including his last position with the Nokomis East Neighborhood Association as their Program and Communications Manager. He is also a graduate student at Hamline University in the Masters of Nonprofit Management program.

Nestor Garcia
Community Outreach Coordinator - nestor@hnampls.org

I've been a resident in the Harrison neighborhood for 3 years. I look forward to continuing work with community members in Harrison as the new community outreach director. I've volunteered in the community through Redeemer Lutheran Church, HNA and the last year I've been an organizer with 15now MN campaign to raise the minimum wage. In this new role I will do my best to ensure that the voice of this community is being heard especially with all of the new development that will be happening in Harrison.

Nichole Bueller

Program Manger

Nichole recently joined HNA as the new Program Manager.  Her previous experience includes working as a case manager in social services, and as a licensed attorney representing low-income clients in matters of landlord-tenant law, employment discrimination, and criminal defense. Nichole discovered her passion for community organizing when she joined her local neighborhood association and witnessed the the power residents can exert when they come together to fight for a common cause.  She looks forward to working with Harrison residents to create meaningful and lasting social change, in the place where it must start- the neighborhood.
